Why I'll Try To Resist Ever Getting An IPhone

I'll never forget the week my former employer purchased Blackberries for the Management Team and within a day the COO emailed me while he was taking a dump.  And Luddites bemoan technology is a barrier to intimacy.  Barrier to hygiene maybe.  Who would have thought back in 1999 that email might cause you to pause the next time you go to shake your boss's hand?

I'm avoiding the iphone as well, but for other reasons. I probably won't get one anytime soon (if ever).

i'd just like the chance to see one, but Apple chose to partner with ATT who has no service in northern New England (or Alaska I hear).

I would like one, not for the email, but for the iPod and telephone in one. One less thing in my purse would make me happy.
